Job Title: Mobile Medical Van Pharmacist

Location: Rural Areas, [Chandauli, U.P.)

Reports To: Project Coordinators and HO.

Job Summary:

Gramin Vikas Trust is seeking a dedicated and experienced Pharmacist to join our Mobile Medical Van team, serving rural communities. The Pharmacist will be responsible for dispensing medications, providing patient counseling, supporting community health drives, and collaborating with other healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive care.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Medication Dispensing:

   - Accurately dispense prescribed medications to patients.

   - Ensure proper labeling and dosage instructions.

2. Patient Counseling:

   - Provide medication counseling to patients, including potential side effects and proper usage.

   - Educate patients on the importance of medication adherence.

 

3. Inventory Management:

   - Maintain and manage the inventory of medications and supplies.

   - Ensure timely reordering and restocking of pharmaceuticals.

4. Community Health Drives:

   - Participate in and support community health drives organized by the mobile medical van team.

   - Assist in health education and promotion activities during these drives.

5. Team Collaboration:

   - Work closely with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver integrated patient care.

   - Assist team members in various healthcare activities as needed.

6. Compliance and Documentation:

   - Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and health standards.

   - Maintain accurate records of dispensed medications and patient interactions.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm) or equivalent.

- Valid pharmacist license.

- Strong knowledge of pharmaceuticals and their usage.

- Excellent communication and patient counseling skills.

Key Competencies:

- Attention to Detail: Ensuring accuracy in dispensing and documentation.

- Compassion: Providing empathetic care to rural patients.

- Teamwork: Collaborating effectively with other healthcare providers.

- Organizational Skills: Managing inventory and maintaining proper records.

KYC (Know Your Community):

- Actively participate in understanding the specific health needs of the rural communities served.

- Engage with community members to build trust and encourage the use of mobile medical van services.

- Support other team members in community outreach and education initiatives.

Experience:

  • At least 1 year experience in development sector

Remuneration: Rs.22,000/- pm

Local candidates will be preferred specially Chanduali U.P.
